5 All-Star Olympic Cocktails To Sip During the Closing Ceremony

The Olympics have been eventful to say the least. The United States medaled in 27 competitions, earning 9 gold medals to bring back home from Sochi. As we say goodbye to all things winter sport on Sunday, you can warm your bones with a cocktail or two during the final festivities, regardless if you’re hosting a viewing party or not. USA! USA!

The Torch

TY_KU_Torch_Cocktail

2 oz. TY KU Citrus Liqueur
1 oz. Kahlua
1 ½ oz. Cream
1 oz. Bacardi 151
Pinch of Cinnamon

Shake and strain the liqueur and Kahlua into martini glass. Over bar spoon pour cream to float on top. Over cream float Bacardi 151 before lighting it with a match. As flame burns sprinkle some cinnamon onto flame. Clap hands over flame to put out, give it a stir, and serve.

Triple Axel Hot Toddy

1 oz. Sauza Blue Reposado 100% Agave Tequila
½  oz. JDK & Sons™ O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
8 oz. apple cider
2 oz. cranberry juice cocktail
Dash of cinnamon (optional)
Dash of nutmeg (optional)

In a saucepan, heat the apple cider and cranberry juice just until steaming hot (do not let the liquid boil), and remove it from the heat. Stir in Sauza Blue Reposado and liqueur. Add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg as desired.

The Gold Medal Winner

1 oz. Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
¾ oz. chocolate liqueur
½ oz. chocolate sauce or syrup
1/6 c. ice
Vanilla whipped cream (optional)

Combine tequila, chocolate liqueur, chocolate sauce and ice in a glass filled with ice. Top with vanilla whipped cream (optional).

The Ski Slope

1 ½ oz. Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
½ oz. Kamora Coffee Liqueur
4 oz. coffee
2 tsp. cinnamon sugar (1 part cinnamon, 4 parts sugar) plus more for dusting
Whipped cream
Cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)
*Serves 6

Combine hot coffee and tequila. Mix in cinnamon and sugar until dissolved. Float whipped cream on top and dust with cinnamon-sugar. Garnish with cinnamon sticks (optional) and enjoy!
