5 Halloween Cocktails to Scare Up at Your Spooky Soiree

While Superstorm Sandy put a serious damper on last year’s Halloween festivities, we’re lucky enough to have two weekends to celebrate the scariest time of the year. If you’re hosting a haute Halloween party this year, be sure to serve up something sweet, spooky, and strong for your ghouls and goblin—we mean guests. Whichever one of these brews you choose is sure to be a hit!

All Hallow’s Eve

2 oz. Pinnacle® Caramel Apple Vodka
½ oz. DeKuyper® Pucker® Sour Apple Schnapps
2 oz. Apple Cider

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass that has an optional drizzle of caramel.

Vampire’s Kiss

1 ½ oz. Midori
1 oz. Skyy Infusions Blood Orange
2 oz. Pineapple
½ oz. Cream
Grenadine

Shake all ingredients except grenadine and strain over ice. Drizzle grenadine to create bleeding effect.

Ghost Ball

1 oz. Jacob’s Ghost White Whiskey
3 oz. Ginger ale

Build over ice in a highball glass. Garnish with an optional lemon or lime wedge.

Green Goblin’s Brew

2 oz. Owl’s Brew – ‘The Classic’
2 oz. Green Juice
1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. soda

Pour over ice into a mason jar.  Halloween Garnish: Garnish with a knobby piece of ginger

The Flying Witch Margarita

1 1/2 oz. Avión Silver
1 3/4 oz. Pomegranate Juice
3/4 oz. Orange Liqueur
3/4 oz. Sour Mix (2:1 Lime/Simple Syrup)

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice, and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lime twist.
