What did you find yourself rocking the most this year? Check out our top fashion trends for 2012.

Clockwise from left:
Neon and Neutral: The combination of neon and neutral popped up on our radar in the summer of 2011 and stuck around all through 2012. The perfect way to make a bold statement, we still browse Pinterest boards looking for this haute color combo.

Statement Collars: Embellished and contrast collars ruled our button ups during 2012. Not all of these collars were attached to a shirt, one of our favorite ways to rock this trend was a detachable embellished collar. Our favorite embellishments included studs and sequins.

Bold Prints: Loud and proud prints were huge in 2012 and the boldest of fashionistas were mixing them with prints we’d never consider in the past. Digitalized prints (made popular this year by Greek designer Mary Katrantzou), floral prints, and bold print mixing were spotted all over the runways and street style blogs.

Peplums: The figure flattering cut known as peplum was a dream come true to curvy and curve-less ladies everywhere. Whether it was dressed up on the red carpet or spotted on a tee-shirt, you couldn’t escape this cut in 2012.

Burgundy (also known as Oxblood): Forget tangerineburgundy was the color of 2012. From bags to pants to chunky knits, this color will stay one of our favorite shades until the spring.
