She and Him is getting us grooving with yet another charming hit, this one titled “I Could’ve Been Your Girl” and featuring an always mesmerizing Zooey Deschanel as the star of the self-directed music video. Dancing like an early ’60s darling, “She” attempts to gain M.Ward, or “Him’s,” unrequited affection with an old school dance routine put on by herself and some retro-clad pals. Donning feminine fit and flare style dresses, adorable headband and ribbon accessories, and perfectly bright flats, it’s hard not to want to kick up your heels in similar fashion.
