At the close of the decade several events transformed the American landscape, including Castro’s rise to power, the Day the Music Died, and even the birth of Barbie. Magic City, the highly anticipated drama, premiering April 6, at 10pm on STARZ, takes place on the cusp of a new age. The luxurious Miramar Playa sits in the midst of Miami’s famous Hotel Row, the place to be as history unfolds with the turbulent rise of Castro in 1959.
