Alexa Chung is upping her nail game as the new face of Nails Inc.
In celebration of the brand’s 15th anniversary, the It-girl-about-town will collaborate on a six-shade collection of fabric-inspired polishes. The fresh hues will be housed in brand new bottles created by director Fabien Baron when they hit shelves in August, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
We’re not surprised to see Chung fronting the London lacquer brand after the frenzy she stirred up by debuting the brand’s Leather Effect polish at the 2012 British Style Awards. Seriously, we even picked up the polish and have been in love ever since! It’s far from her first cosmetic collaboration, as the multi-hyphenate previously partnered with Eyeko on a series of eye enhancers.
But that’s not all that Nails Inc. has up its sleeve this year! Mani mavens will get a sneak peek at a limited edition lacquer called Red Lace on the brand’s site in June, and they can expect a new range of varnishes called Nailkale, formulated with – you guessed it – kale in the base coat. Plus, Nail Inc. will make it mark on this side of the pond with its own nail bar called Paint Worxshop.
Looks like we’ll have to make some room on our polish racks for the upcoming nail glazes!
