Everyone’s favorite reluctant “IT” girl, TV host, DJ, spokesmodel and sometimes Madewell collaborator, Alexa Chung has added another title to the mix. Literally, the stylish Brit has penned her first book to be released just in time for fashion month called It. Though, it isn’t exactly Chung’s guide to style, the book features her inspirations and musings like “her thoughts on life, love, and music to her favorite looks and how to decided what to wear in the morning,” according to the description on Amazon. The cover art is Chung’s eye wearing silver eye shadow inside a tiny box between her name and the title.
Chung put her entire self into the book, in multiple ways. “I’m writing, I’m drawing and I’m taking photographs,” the new author told Vogue UK. “It’s definitely not an autobiography, but it’s me writing so probably in a way it will have that element.
Chung joins the ranks of Crystal Renn, Alex Wek, Susan Moncur, Naomi Campbell, Irina Pantaeva, Cheryl Diamond, Waris Diries and Jillian Shanebrook, as models who’ve penned books. Pre-order your copy now for the September 5th release!
