The hair care authority, lead by Global Creative Director Michael Shaun Corby, joins Mary Kay as fellow beauty partners to prep the designers’ models to craft complementary coif and cosmetics for their challenge looks. Plus, each week both brands will release the winning and losing look and images of the models and in the hair salon so you can get the look at home.
The show and its older sisters have helped to translate runway beauty into attainable looks by giving viewers a peek backstage as stylists and makeup artists come together with the designer to realize their vision, even inspiring an annual L’Oreal Paris makeup collection.
While the Alterna is quietly celebrating, Mary Kay has already started a countdown to the premiere of the new season. “We’re counting down the days until Project Runway All Stars! RT if you’re ready for some fierce fashion & beauty looks!” the brand tweeted on Monday. “We’re bringing runway to real way with Project Runway All Stars!”
