She’s been a big fan of the brand, wearing one of the designs at the 2012 Tony Awards and sitting front row at the Fall 2013 show back in March. Though she’s still the face of Clé de Peau, she jumped at the chance to be a part of Givenchy. “It’s an honest collaboration,” she told Women’s Wear Daily. “I’m proud to be a part of [the brands I’m involved with] because what they do is really cool, especially Givenchy – they’re so artistic. And I feel like I have a foot in the fashion industry now.”
The print and TV campaigns have been shot with Cédric Klapisch behind the camera for the commercial and Glen Luchford for print. Both were styled by none other than Riccardo Tisci himself and are set to launch in September.
Just don’t expect Seyfried to jump on the celebrity scent train anytime soon. “They’re hard work, and the more you do, they take away from your work as an actor,” she explained. “I’m doing these two campaigns because I care about them and the people involved. They’re great things to be attached to.”
We hope to get a peek at the campaign soon!
