1. Sweetie Check Shirt, $55
Plaid is going to be a big trend for fall, and I love the burst of color that the pink adds to this shirt. But it’s also the perfect thing to pair with a great pair of denim cutoffs for any late summer camping trips, don’t you think?
2. Chiffon Flower Bobby Pins, $1.80
I love Blair Waldorf’s style on Gossip Girl, but it’s a lot harder for me to pull off the big headbands than it is for her—wearing a big bow or flower on my head inevitably makes me look about 10 years younger (and not in a good way). So of course, I was thrilled when I saw these cute flower pins are perfect—smaller but still just as cute, and useful for keeping my hair out of my face.
3. Ink for Eyes in Empire, $22
I always enjoy experimenting with fun new eye makeup looks, and I’m determined to make winged liner work for me. I think it’ll look that much cooler if I rock it in this beautiful eggplant shade—plus, the kit comes with an angled brush/smudger duo!
4. Vintage Inspired Fan Mirror, $14
It’s always necessary for me to have a compact mirror tucked away conveniently in my purse so I don’t have to use store windows to check on the state of my makeup. The adorable shape of this vintage-y compact is an added bonus—I know I’ll feel a little Marie Antoinette-esque every time I pull it out!
These wipes are perfect for those nights when I’m too lazy to make the trek from my bedroom to my bathroom (aka every night…). They’re quick and handy, and they’ll get rid of all my makeup without leaving any residue that I’d have to rinse off. Plus, the snap closure on the packaging will keep them clean and moist.
Ever since I chose a bright, sunny yellow for my manicure earlier this week, I’ve been obsessed with the color. It’s such a great, summery shade to use (right on trend!) and it actually brings out the golden tones in my skin—which means I look more tan without any sun damage!
Not only does this scrub smell amazing, but the packaging is pretty adorable, too. A sugar scrub will be gentler on my skin than a salt scrub, but it’ll still do its job to exfoliate and soften skin. And since the summer heat tends to encourage shorter hemlines, that’s definitely a good thing.
As much as I’m looking forward to the darker berry lip colors that are going to be huge for fall, I can’t get enough of a classic, pretty pink gloss. I’m a big fan of having a little shine on my lips, and this shade of pink is just right to add a little color but still keep things natural.
