1. Delias Bonjour Balloon Tee, $24.50
I always love a comfy t-shirt—especially one that has such an adorable image on it. I’ve seen lots of doodle and sketch-inspired graphics on recently and I love the artsy feel that they have. My favorites have been from Lanvin, but I do have a budget… this tee captures that cute, handmade quality for a fraction of the price. I just can’t say non!
Even if they took away the cute name and cool vintage packaging, I’d still be in love with this blush. I really like the idea of a peach-toned blush, because the pinch-of-pink, bit-of-bronze color combination means I’ll be able to wear it all year long. Plus, the formula is sheer but layerable, so I can completely customize my look depending on how much sun I’ve gotten or what mood I’m in.
3. K. Jacques Delta Sandal, $207
There’s no way around it—these sandals are totally fabulous. They don’t have any fancy embellishments, but they really don’t need any, do they? I can picture wearing them with anything from denim cutoffs to a pretty floral dress, strolling on the boardwalk or for a picnic at the park.
4. Totally Funky Paper Plane Overnight Bag, approximately $89
This is, hands down, the most amazing weekend bag I’ve come across to date. It has such a vintage-y charm to it, and map and postcard motif is clever without being too over-the-top. And as an extra bonus, I probably won’t have to worry about getting my bag mixed up with anyone else’s!
I’m all about brightly colored nail polish, but when I’m feeling a little more demure, I find myself on the lookout for the perfect nude polish. I don’t want it too pink, too light, too brown… And that’s why I’m loving OPI’s new nude shade, “Sand in My Suit,” from their Spring/Summer 2009 South Beach collection. It looks like just the right amount of barely there, and it’s still summery.
6. L’Occitane Lavender Vinegar, $16
I’m pretty lucky that my skin isn’t prone to breaking out often, but that doesn’t mean it never does! I’ve tried all sorts of spot-healing treatments to rid my face of unseemly acne, but since I want to start using more natural products, I’m ready to try out this lavender vinegar, a natural astringent that cleans, tightens, and perfects.
7. Bliss Bikini Perfect Deluxe, $60
The nicer the weather, the more time I spend in my swimsuit—and the more I need to make sure I’m keeping my bikini line in check. This kit has all the elements for a soothing hair-removal process, from a precision trimmer to body butter, and a cute drawstring travel bag.
I’ve been seeing sexy winged liner and smoky eyes all over the place recently (i.e. on my current favorite starlet, Emma Watson), and I definitely want to try it out. I like this kit from Bare Escentuals because it comes with a nice rich liner shadow, a special brush, and great pointers, too.
