Ashley Greene Shows Off Her ‘Sassy’ Style

By  September 25, 2012

ASHLEY GREENE HAS stepped up her style since she got her big break in Twilight. Since then she’s been featured in Donna Karan New York’s Fall 2012 campaign and, most recently, became the face of Mark’s newest fragrance, Very Sassy. Glam got the chance to chat with the haute Hollywood starlet about style, seasonal staples, and sharing screen time with Alicia Silverstone and Alan Rickman.

Q: What are some of your favorite style staples of the season?
A: Mark just came out with these really cute brown boots [Gimme the Boot]. I always tend to wear more brown in the fall than anything else. Sweaters of course, I love layering. And rings! The one I’m wearing now has such a pretty blue that matches a pair of Alexander Birman heels that I just got; I love them!
Q: Since Fashion Week just ended here in the city, were you able to attend any shows?
A: Yeah. I got to see the DKNY and the Donna Karan shows, and I loved what she did with the collections. Donna Karan had all of these earthy tones, and I can’t wait to try them out!
Q: What are some of your favorite trends that you saw at the shows this season?
A: I loved all of the sheer flowing skirts that I saw—perfect for blowing in the breeze.
Q: What are some of the other project you’re working on?
A: Well, I have Butter coming out, and even though it’s more of an indie film, I had incredible time. The cast was amazing – Ty Burrell, Rob Corddry, Alicia Silverstone. I’m such a fan of hers! I’m sure she’s heard it a million times, “I’ve loved you since Clueless,” but it’s true. It’s my first comedy, so I’m really excited about it. I also have CBGB coming out next year with another amazing cast, I mean Alan Rickman plays Hilly Kristal, and he’s incredible. I play his daughter Lisa, and they have an odd relationship. It seems she’s more of the adult while Hilly is more of the child. But it was great to learn how CBGB came to be what it’s known for today. It started out as a club for country and blues, and it somehow became this landmark for punk and rock music. I can’t wait for everyone to see them!
