There is nothing worse than putting on a killer outfit only to find that there is something wrong with it. Not something wrong like “this would look better with a peep-toe” but like, “oh snap, this is missing a button.”

Having a style emergency kit in your closet is a must-have for every woman who gets dressed in the morning. As a stylist, I have a TON of little fashion gadgets but I’ve narrowed down the list to the can’t-live-without essentials.

Sewing KitSeems like a duh but do you ever have one when your shirt is missing a button?

Topstick - This double-sided tape is used to stick on toupees so you know it’s strong enough to keep your shirt from slipping.

Deodorant Remover - A little foam disk goes a long way in getting deodorant stains off of your clothing.

Bra Strap GadgetsStrap Trap is my favorite thing ever! It turns a regular bra into a racer back for under $10.

Shoe Inserts - Painful or shoes that are a little too big call for an insert. I always keep some inserts, heel pads, and other shoe related gear in my closet just in case.

For more wardrobe solutions check out of Fashion First Aid; they literally have the solution to all of your wardrobe malfunctions. I also have about a half dozen Pinch Provisions kits; one in my purse, one in my car, and a few scattered around the house – these kits are total lifesavers.
