John Galliano is slowly, but surely, making his way back into the world of fashion.

“One step at a time,” was the way that his publicist phrased it to the New York Post. So far, those steps include opening up to both Vanity Fair’s Ingrid Sischy and Charlie RoseNot to mention the fact that Oscar de la Renta has seemingly taken the designer under his wing, allowing him to help prepare is Fall 2013 Ready to Wear collection.

It isn’t a secret that Galliano has a few of fashion’s elite in his corner, namely, Anna Wintour and Conde Nast publisher Si Newhouse. Considering that Newhouse has been vocal about Galliano’s atonement and is the publisher of British Vogue, Galliano’s latest step makes perfect sense.

Galliano acted as guest fashion editor for American fashion bible’s counterpart across the pond for a fantasy spread where he styled his long-time friend (and new British Vogue contributing editor) Kate Moss. The two, shot by Tim Walker, bring to life Ballet Russe and Malcolm McLaren on the pages of the glossy.

When the December issue of British Vogue featuring the stylish duo hits newsstands, you can bet this is one that we’ll quickly snatch up.
