The Show: Band of Outsiders

The Hair: Didier Malige looked to The Brady Bunch – specifically Jan – for inspiration for this slicked-down look. Using Rene Furterer Shine Enhancing Detangling Spray, the hair was doused with product and separated with a deep side part. The front section of hair is sprayed down flat with Rene Furterer Fioravanti, while the back of the hair is texturized with a leave-in conditioning spray. Stylists worked with their hands to bring out the models’ natural hair texture to create this laid-back Jan-inspired hairstyle.

The Makeup: Shiseido Artistic Director Dick Page kept things consistent with a 70’s inspired makeup look that was subdued yet illuminated. He achieved a reverse-raccoon-eye using Shiseido Cream Eye Color in Yuba (Spring 2014) to make the models look like they’d been in the sun wearing sunglasses. The shimmery cream went all around the eyes, and the skin was dusted with Shiseido’s new Face Color Enhancing Trio in Plum (Spring 2014) on the cheeks, bridge of the nose and forehead. Lids and lashes were otherwise bare to let the shimmery eyes be the focus. The cream eye shadow was used again on the bow of the lip and the lips got filled in with Shiseido’s new Lacquer Rouge Gloss in Debut (Spring 2014).

The Manicure: The crisp, clean nail look, imagined by Butter London’s Katie Jane Hughes, was inspired by an easy-boho attitude. Nails were swiped with Cotton Buds and topped with Butter London’s Matte Finish Top Coat.
