The Show: Cynthia Rowley

The Hair:  To achieve a beachy “I just rolled out of bed” effect, Staci Child from Cutler Revlon gave models’ hair a roughed up effect by blow drying hair, curling it and then brushing it out. Redken’s Rootful lifted roots while Redken Fashion Work 12 Hairspray helped hold the soft bunch of fluffy hair to one side of the head.

The Makeup:  Stila makeup artist Sara Lucero went for a makeup look that was “effortless cool spirited like a surfer girl, skater girl and bad-ass beauty.” Smudged liner brought out the rock ‘n roll vive and a bright lip infused a bit of fun into the look. She left skin bare, save for a bit of a pink tone – using Stila Convertible Color in fuchsia – to mimic sunburn.  The super-smudged eye was achieved using Stila Smudge Stick in graphite (available Spring 2014), Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Smokey Quartz/Black and Stila Major Major Lash Mascara to fully coat bottom lashes. A little bit of shadow was added to lids with colors from Stila’s In The Know paletteStila Stay All Day lipstick in hot pink finished the look with a punky punch.

The Mani: Keeping with the rockstar theme, Casey Herman dressed nails up in a combination of Essie polishes. Each girls’ nails were painted in a random array of three Essie colors: “For The Twill Of It,” “Licorice” and “Midnight Cami” and Luxe Effects were layered on top for intense sparkle.
