THE HAIR: For soft, feminine hair, Mark Townsend only used two products: Dove Dry Shampoo and Pure Care Dry Oil. He wanted the hair to look windblown, but touchable, so after spraying the dry shampoo into the roots and all over and working in the dry oil, he crafted a loose braid at the nape of the neck. Then, he put a few kinks in the pieces that fell out of the braid for a lived-in look. The tail was tucked into the clothes for the presentation.

THE MAKEUP: There was a focus on natural skin for the makeup look at Elizabeth and James. The inspiration was a girl who is comfortable in her own skin, and doesn’t need to wear a lot of makeup to look and feel glamorous. The models’ glowing skin was to be a lovely contrast to the rich-toned clothing. Erik Soto used the following products to achieve beautiful skin: Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm, Beauty Blender, Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil, Kat Von D Rehab Priming Elixir, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder, Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Makeup, Per-fekt Brow Perfection Gel in Nude and TARTE Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Blissful (applied just underneath the cheekbones, for an I-was-just-outside-in-the-cold look). On the eyes, he brushed two neutral shadows (Vespertine and Harlow) from Kat Von D’s Ladybird True Romance Eyeshadow Palette and applied Lancome Definicils mascara in brown. Lips were kept relatively neutral with Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Heaping Hazelnut and Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat in Radiant Touch.

THE MANI: Manicurist Dida prepped the nails with both cleanser and base coat from Formula X’s The System. She then coated the nails in a dark merlot called Obsessed from the brand’s New Classics collection.
