THE SHOW: The Blonds
THE HAIR: Nick Irwin started wigging out by first spraying the models’ hair with Catwalk by TIGI’s Look Lock from root to tip , pulling it into a tight, smooth ponytail. He then spritzed the Session Series Finishing Spray to help him comb away any flyaways. Next Irwin backcombed the tail before putting into a bun, securing it with bobby pins, to anchor the blond wigs and provide lift. Once the first wig was secure towards the back without squashing the bun, he added the second closer to the front hairline. Irwin then fixed a bang on the second wig before cleaning them up with a sharp pair of shears. He finished the look with another blast of the finishing spray as he smoothed away any flayaways.
THE MAKEUP: Kabuki returned to transform the models into characters worthy of their own comic series. He began by blanking out their eyebrows with concealer that also painted the rest of their faces with a dusting of powder to set. He contoured the cheeks with MAC’s Taupe Powder Blush, topping them with the upcoming Fun Ending Blush. He applied cutouts over their brows before Creating a dark wing with the Pro Black Crème Liner and a set of 36 Lashes. Some girls also received an added dose of green that took over their eyelids, following the original black wing, with a touch of the Pro Pure White Chromaline buffed on the center of the eyelid. All received a purple ombre lip that blended the Designer Purple Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner with Fuchsia and Madly Magenta pigments.
THE MANI: Kristina Estabrooks and the rest of the CND gang got together to let their inner comic book geek run free with a slew of manicures that varied from graffiti air brushing, leopard spots, jewel heist tips complete with baubles, and even Joker-themed nails with weapons and dynamite mounted on the manicure!
