The Show: Trina Turk

The Hair: Cutler Salon’s Martin Christopher Harper was going for a bohemian-bougious look at Trina Turk. For the soft yet textural look, he used Redken Full Frame 07 Volumizing Mousse and Redken Rootful 06 Root Lifting Spray before blow-drying the hair. Then stylists took a 1 ¼-inch curling iron to create a small wave. Since the look was all about a soft finish, the curls were allowed to fall out a bit and the style was finished off with Redken Fashion Work 12 Versatile Working Spray. The result was a breathable and healthy look that was reminiscent of the famed Brigitte Bardot.

The Makeup: Crafted for a girl who does her makeup on the run and only uses a few important products, tfhis free-spirited look is a bit monochromatic, but warm and peachy. Sarah Lucero used Stila Stay All Day Foundation to perfect skin and focus on a creamy overall texture. Stila’s multi-tasking Convertible Color in gerbera was used in areas where the sun might hit to warm up the face. Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bellissima was dotted on the eyelids and lips, and just a touch of mascara completed the Cali-girl look.

The Mani: Nails were coated in Julep polish – a crisp white on the fingers with a peachy tone on toes and a bold red stripe across the first toe.
