Bags & Breakfast at Tiffany’s

By  August 24, 2011

This morning we had the opportunity to fulfill one of our fashion fantasies–breakfast at Tiffany’s! We arrived early in the morning, hours before the store opened to the public, and were greeted by tables set with sterling silver, crystal and fine china.

Before sitting down for a three-course meal, we were treated to an overview of Tiffany & Co.’s stunning fall handbag and leather accessories collection from the designers themselves. Richard Lamberston and John Truex gave us an overview of their creative process and timeless inspirations. After checking out the studded clutches, leather totes, and exotic satchels, we became instantly obsessed with the Vivian clutch, which fuses elegance and edge. “It’s fresh and youthful with an old world twist,” said Truex. No wonder it appealed to us!

But we couldn’t stare at the bags forever, fresh fruit and yogurt, a small stack of blueberry silver dollar pancakes, and a decadent egg tart were waiting to be enjoyed. “This is my first breakfast at Tiffany’s, so this is a very special moment for me,” said Truex. It was for us too.

What a divine way to start the day!

The Vivian clutch is available for $1,295 at Tiffany.com.
