Beauty Buys From Your Favorite Olympians

By  February 21, 2014

Team USA is gearing up for their triumphant return to the states as the Winter Olympics come to a close. While their athletic gear is the first thing to be packed up (keeping their medals close by), one can’t forget the products used to ensure that they look great both in and out of competition. We looked to some of the athletes to share their favorite beauty buys.

Glam girl Gracie Gold can’t craft her signature bold lip without CoverGirl’s Lip Perfection Lip Color – no nudes allowed! As she preps for meets in her car, she doesn’t have time to deal with clumps to get lush lashes, which is why she always has her Clump Crusher Mascara handy. To ensure she’s camera-ready (as she loves a good selfie), she always put on a Crest White Strip prior to competing.

She may keep her locks hidden for her safety, but Mikaela Shiffrin’s hair is her pride and joy. While she keeps her chestnut color going strong with a touchup courtesy of Nice’n Easy, they remain soft, resilient, and shiny by washing, conditioning, and treating her tresses with Pantene’s Repair and Protect Collection.

Figure skater Ashley Wagner keeps her tips and toes on patriotic point with a few coats of the Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Glosses in Ever Reddy and Out of the Blue. While a smoky eye would look muddled on the ice, she gives her lashes a big boost with the Bombshell Volume Mascara to make her peepers pop. That is unless she’s rocking a mean pair of zebra shades.

Before hitting the slopes, Jaime Anderson ensures her skin is soft and moisturized – a big must in this weather – by lathering up with Olay’s Sensitive Skin Bodywash as well as a few swipes from her Venus & Olay Razor for when she wants to step out in style. At the end of the night, she does ensure she takes off every stitch of makeup with an Olay S’Wipe Out.

Looks like we have a few items to pick up to prep for the closing ceremony!
