This October served up a very stylish reminder that green definitely is gorgeous. Beautified in benefit of Global Green USA’s 10th Annual Gorgeous and Green Gala, a slew of celebs–from Louise Roe to Goldie Hawn–took to San Francisco for an evening in celebration of environmental consciousness in all elements of life, including fashion and cosmetology. As leaders of chic style, from their heels to their hair, these were ladies whose eco-friendly tips and tricks were ones to take to heart. Natural,  cruelty-free skincare, for example, keeps these famous faces both green and gorgeous. And for their killer looks? Organic cotton, vegan leather, renewably sourced materials, and vintage treasures were on everyone’s love list.

Both Catt Sadler and Vanessa Hudgens did more than share their green agenda, though. These beauties also showed off new ‘dos fit for fall and spilled on the inspirations behind their seasonal strand switch up. That’s right–Sadler in lightened locks and bangs, and Hudgens with red tips, both turned heads with their haute hair along the “green carpet.”

Sadler got straight to the point: “I have access to the most amazing stylists in the world and I take full advantage,” the E! News host gushed. She worked with the hairstylists to create some oomph via bangs, and her reasoning rocked. “I’ll tell you more information than you probably want to know. This is the thinnest part of my hair, up here by my roots,” she admitted. “I saw the September issue of Vogue and saw that a lot of the campaigns had bangs again.” Her muse was none other than model Suki Waterhouse. “I was all over her Instagram going ‘This is the hair I want.’”

As for Hudgens, she’s no stranger to cut and color, having already rocked an all-over coppery gloss, long beachy waves, green dip-dyed ends, a short ombre lob, just to name a few. Her undone up-do of both extensions and her natural locks at the gala, though, featured a new fiery twist. Her inspiration? “Halloween” I’m going to be a vampire and I thought that there wasn’t anything more vampy than red hair.”

Acuvue Breaks into Beauty with Innovative New Lenses
