Peoples-Choice-Best-Dressed

And so, it begins! We kicked off awards season on Wednesday night with the People’s Choice Awards. Naturally, the red carpet was where we kept most of our attention focused. As far as best-dressed stars go, Allison Williams really impressed us with her blue and white David Koma dress. The structured silhouette and graphic detailing complimented her figure and helped her stand out on the red carpet. Nina Dobrev brought on the sparkle with a black long-sleeved Jenny Packham number that hugged her body in all the right places.

Also looking sultry was Glee’s Naya Rivera, who turned up in a neutral color-blocked mullet dress. Despite the name, this Michael Kors number deemed Rivera a total knockout – and her new hair color even had some people comparing her look to Kim Kardashian. Style star Jessica Alba donned a white Jason Wu creation that had us thinking “bondage” for all the right reasons. Jennifer Hudson turned up in the same white-hot hue. She paired her simple-but-elegant Kaufmanfranco dress with barely-there white sandals.

These stunning stars definitely started awards season on the right foot with their dress choices, and the theme here seems to be that in-between length. If this isn’t proof enough that less (skin) is more, we’re looking forward to seeing how red carpet looks to-come further enforce that mantra.
