Bindi Irwin’s All Grown Up
By Katherine Fotinos
March 13, 2013
Bindi Irwin, the beautiful daughter of the late Steve Irwin, the world’s favorite crocodile hunter who passed away in 2006, is no little girl anymore; she’s starring alongside Matthew Lillardin in a Hallmark Channel film! The 14 year old is out promoting Return to Nim’s Island, having taken on the role originally played by Abigail Breslin in 2008. Excited about the opportunity, she dished, “Nim is a little bit uppity but apart from that we are quite similar,” in a recent interview with the Adelaide Now. This isn’t Irwin’s first stint in front of the camera, though. Along with co-starring on her father’s Animal Planet show, The Crocodile Hunter, she has had several shows of her own including 2012′s Bindi’s Boot Camp most recently. Along with acting, Irwin continues to maintain the legacy of her father through conservation work in Australia and abroad. She even donates 10% of her makings to Wildlife Warriors, the charity founded by the Irwin family in 2002. image via news.com.au
