It would be easy to introduce new designer Starr McCaleb and her debut line of a-line frocks by using catchy, playful phrases like ⿿starry-eyed,⿿ ⿿rising star,⿿ etc. But a closer inspection of her first collection⿿a well-edited line of dresses fashioned out of supple silk in a refined, tri-tone palette⿿makes any light-hearted terms somehow seem crass. To avoid any such indelicacies, I⿿ll simply let the clothes⿿and their designer⿿speak for themselves, and wait patiently until fall when McCaleb⿿s line hits stores.
