Chris Orr's recovery is going well.
CHRIS ORR, the man who was attacked by a tiger last week at TIPPI HEDREN's Shambala Preserve, is expected to recover completely.
His mother, BARBARA ORR, released a statement on Monday, saying that her son had undergone surgery on Saturday to correct a broken jaw, and had also undergone minor surgery to repair puncture wounds in his neck. She said that Hedren and Shambala have been "very supportive towards both Chris and us" and also said, "We've always understood Shambala has an excellent safety record."
She said that both she and her husband support Hedren's legislation that would ban the sale of exotic cats as pets.
