Ashlee Simpson⿿s manager dad, Joe Simpson, is reportedly trying to pimp line up his daughter for her very own reality dating show. The concept apparently would be built around an eligible Ashlee being courted by suitors, competing for her attention.
Problem is Ashlee would need to dump her now boyfriend Pete Wentz, which Joe apparently is encouraging. It’s perhaps nothing personal after all who wouldn’t want a son-in law like Pete? But Joe thinks Ashlee should make the move in order to boost her career and help sales of her upcoming album, Bittersweet World. Sounds a bit too desperate to be believable but on the otherhand perhaps Joe Simpson sees this as a way to kill two birds with one stone?
