Note to Self: Cut a wide berth if you run into Andy Garcia on the street.
Sarah Michelle Gellar says she was shocked by how violent Garcia was while shooting scenes for their new movie, “The Air I Breathe.” So shocked, in fact, that she had to leave the set.
“I had a hard time separating the scene from what is reality,” said Gellar in an IMDB story. “At one point I had to leave. I didn’t know the scary side of Andy. I’m a small girl, and he doesn’t let go. When he throws me up against a wall - that’s actuality.”
The actress said she grew close to Garcia while making the movie, but found it hard to watch his method approach to playing a crime boss. Garcia also beat up Brendan Fraser’s gangster character in the movie.
