It's just typical of Scotland to finally get its own fashion week - and hold it in the one month of the year when I can't go. Typical. Glasgow Fashion Week runs from March 28th - 31st, and is hoping to prove that there
is fashion life south of the border with shows from a number of up and coming Scottish designers, plus some bigger names from the retail scene. Designers Aimee McWilliams and Jennifer Lang are set to headline the event, which will be held in the city's George Square, and there will also be shows from Topshop, Jaeger, and Benetton. A full list of exhibitors (including Christian Dior and All Saints) can be found at
the Fashion Week website. Hopefully there won't be quite as much tartan as there is in the picture above.
