Kfed_2 Update:  TMZ is reporting that earlier media accounts of an FBI investigation are "not accurate."  The LAPD, for its part, says that there was an investigation two months ago, but that it was closed due to insufficient evidence.  Entertainment Tonight is yet to retract it's story, however, and Kevin's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan was non-committal when asked about the rumored hit.

Originally posted 3:32 p.m.: MSNBC is reporting this afternoon that a possible hit has been put out on Kevin Federline's life.

The startling accusation was made today by attorney Gloria Allred, who was in court representing an individual identified as Tony Barretto, a one-time bodyguard for Britney Spears.  In a press conference following the proceedings -- at which Tony did not testify -- Gloria told reporters that the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) were currently investigating an unspecified threat to Kevin's life.  Media outlets appear to be divided on the issue --  Entertainment Tonight reports that the threats are legitimate and at least two months old, as well as that the FBI contacted Kevin to inform him of the potential danger; Access Hollywood apparently refutes that claim, however, citing an unnamed source at the LAPD who said that there is no active investigation at this time.

Today is a pivotal day in the custody battle between Kevin and Britney; The estranged couple split their time with sons Jayden James, 1, and Sean Preston, 2, 50-50, but Kevin reportedly is seeking a 70-30 custodial arrangement.

According to Gloria via MSNBC, Tony is "concerned for the safety of the" Federline children, having witnessed "nudity, drug use and safety issues" during his tenure.  Tony stopped working for Britney in mid-May 2007; Gloria said that her client was fired after he did not hear Britney when she asked him to pick up her hat.  Although he did not testify, Tony filed a sworn declaration detailing his concerns which was ultimately admitted into the record by the court.  Attorneys for Britney did not refute or challenge the document.

Victoria Beckham Posh Spice Marc Jacobs Mercedes-Benz Spice Girls

Posh Beckham? More like Posh Barbie. Victoria Beckham arrived at the Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 Runway Show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City in a very unfortunate purple and silver frock.

This dress has an elegant design, but the fit is all wrong. We know Posh Spice has a near-perfect physique, but her décolletage detracts from the sleek look of the dress. Her handbag, while probably very expensive, looks like it's made for a girl playing dress up. Also, matching your handbag and your shoes isn't necessary, especially with such a bright color like this electric purple. Matching your handbag to your shoes to your dress⿦⿦well, that's overkill.

We heard the Spice Girls are reuniting, but do they have to bring back their '90s style as well?

P.S. This post was especially tough to pen because we actually really like Posh. Hopefully she took good notes at the Marc Jacobs show!
