Poor song choice or just nerves? ET is behind the scenes with GARRETT HALEY, AMY DAVIS, JOANNE BORGELLA and COLTON BERRY -- this season's first four to be voted out of "American Idol"'s Final 24 to get their take on their "Idol" ousting.

"I didn't think I was going to get voted off that early," Garrett admits. "I had pretty high hopes and I was very excited about next week, because it was a song that I could really do, really well. I was pretty shocked at first, when RYAN SEACREST said, 'You're going home.' I thought he was kidding, but then he didn't smile or anything, the music came on and I was like, 'Oh man, he's for real.' So I was sitting there like, 'Oh my God, I hope I remember the words to this song that I have to sing.'"

On the other hand, Amy said she wasn't surprised at all. She knew she had given a poor performance, and she didn't blame it on song choice, but rather a technical issue that had nothing to do with "American Idol." She also talks about how stressful the process is.
