"Grey's Anatomy" star ERIC DANE gets personal in the upcoming issue of OK! magazine where he shockingly reveals that he's suffering from cancer.
Eric says it was around the New Year when he looked in the mirror and saw what resembled chapped lips but clearly wasn't. So the 35-year-old decided to see his dermatologist and it was determined he had skin cancer. "He said it was malignant tissue caused by sun damage," he tells the magazine, on stands Thursday.
The malignancy was treated by freezing the tissue off with liquid nitrogen, which Eric had a bad reaction to. "My skin is very sensitive," the actor explains to OK!, "and my lip was traumatized by the procedure I had to go through."
