The end of the world may be funnier than you expect.
In demand funnyman SETH ROGEN will star opposite his onscreen 'Knocked Up' pal JAY BARUCHEL in the action-comedy 'Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse,' with filming expected to start in 2009, according to Daily Variety.
Revolving around two regular guys who must deal with the end of the world -- and each other -- the film will be co-written by Rogen, based on his much buzzed-about comedy short that first aired on YouTube last year.
The busy Rogen will next star opposite JAMES FRANCO in the pot-themed 'Pineapple Express,' in theaters August 8, and then bring 'The Green Hornet' superhero to the big screen as the title character.
