These days, children's garments are getting so sophistocated that I'm starting to develop a case of kid-clothes envy. Used to be the only thing adults had on non-working-tax-paying-test-taking babes was cool clothing. Not so anymore. Gone are the days of those bright red or yellow, polly, plastic-footed rompers that made us look like little muppets. (Though I do have to admit to a bit of nostalgia for them. But remember how hot they were!) Nowadays, kids clothes are made of fine organic cotton and feature urbane prints in subtle shades. Heck, my husband could gain a thing or two from checking out my son's wardrobe!
Case in point, this cool rocker hoodie sweater from Devi Baby. I mean, it's charcoal grey! It sports a Hendrixish guitar! It's alpaca! (At least I think it is. The top description says "alpaca"; the side one says "100% cotton." Whatever. It aint polly.) Now if it only comes in XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL, I'll get one for my husband.
