BCBG Spring Show
Lace, satin, gauzy silk; itâ¿¿s the stuff girly-girl dreams are made of. But even though the team behind Max Azria borrowed from the boudoir a bit (think cropped corsets, organza dresses, and slips peeking out from beneath knee-length dresses), the show was far from being sacchrine. Thanks to a sophisticated palette that included gray, ivory, taupe, and a touch of rose or mustard. Cinched waists were key as were gray accessories–just the thing for Hollywood starlets–many who were sitting in the front row–who prefer a subtle, sophisticated look.
