There must be a bet, or at least some kind of well-formulated plan, going around in fashion design circles to see who can make the chunkiest knits this season. Sculptural, oversize cable cocoons and off-the-shoulder cashmere sweaters have replaced the coat for fall ⿿08 (cut some scary fact and figures on recent global warming temperatures) and thus far, Carlos Miele is winning the knit wit award with his cheery pom-pom accented creations. Congrats Carlos!
