For those of you who loved Joshua Jackson on Grey’s Anatomy (or anything else), he’s officially joining the cast of J.J. Abrams’ upcoming series, Fringe. Fringe has been described as X-Files meets Altered States meets The Twilight Zone, and will begin shooting its two-hour pilot this month with an estimated $10 million plus budget. Not bad. The series stars Australian actress Anna Torv, who also stars in the BBC’s Mistresses and lends her voice to the main character of the video game Heavenly Sword. I love her, and this show sounds like it’s going to be a hit. I think anything with J.J. Abrams behind the wheel is bound for greatness.
