I’m feeling the girly headband trend. All the feathers, bows, tulle and beading seems very inspired by the ’20s flappers and ’40s pinup girls. Over the weekend, I spotted a funky headband from Forever 21 on a shop gal at Buffalo Exchange, one of my favorite consignment boutiques in Brooklyn (I’ll post more on consignment shopping later). That inspired this post, and I found a few feminine headbands that I thought were super cute.

The gold feather headband is from Fred Flare and the others are from the ever-trend reliableForever 21. The romantic silk-rose headband ($7.80) and the studded bow headband ($3.80) will dress up any holiday party dress, and I love the funky off-white and black tulle and jeweled headbands ($3.80 each).

I’m headed to Las Vegas this weekend and I bet you can guess what’s on my must-have shopping list before I go.

Salma Hayek certainly is a muy caliente mama. The beautiful actress recently turned heads at a CNN event (she probably gave the paparazzi whip-lash) in this eye-catching — although we doubt anyone was looking at her eyes — regal blue gown.

But when is too much cleavage… er, too much?Or is your attitude, if you got ‘em flaunt ‘em?

I certainly don’t have ‘em, so I’m trying to imagine what it would be like to be a bosom buddy. Letting “the twins” loose probably feels very liberating. My only concern would be getting a chest cold (ha!).
