High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale is set to make her big-screen debut in a new adventure comedy.
20th Century Fox’s “They Came From Upstairs” will be produced by Barry Josephson and directed by Honeymooners John Schultz and will start filming in Auckland, New Zealand at the end of the month.
The movie revolves around a group of teens who team up to battle aliens who have invaded their Maine vacation home.
Also cast in the movie are “Step Up 2 the Streets” star Robert Hoffman, Carter Jenkins (”Viva Laughlin”) and Austin Butler “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide”). Ashley Boettcher and Henri and Regan Young are also cast.
The 22-year-old will shoot the comedy before starting work on the third movie in the hit Disney franchise, in which she plays rich girl Sharpay Evans. Tisdale has been speculated of recently after undergoing nose surgery to treat a ‘deviated nasal septum’.
