The "Grey's Anatomy" star is back on the big screen!

PATRICK DEMPSEY plays a single guy looking to woo his bridal best friend in 'Made of Honor,' hitting theaters May 2, and our own MARY HART is with the McDreamy star!

"I love romance, absolutely," the self-confessed serial monogamist tells Mary. But the "Grey's Anatomy" star, who has been married for eight years, admits that his proposal to wife JILLIAN was done "poorly."

"We just bought this house and we were in the middle of remodeling it and the kitchen was a mess," he explains. "I kept giving her this line where I had to find the right ring, and I finally found it while she was gone and I couldn't wait, so I popped the question in the kitchen."
