I am spending way too much time trying to figure out where I found this place which I want to send you all to but I was busy talking on the phone, taking pictures, solving family dilemmas and forgot to make note of where I was exactly. Plus it was dusk and rainy and time to find shelter and a glass of wine. So, if any of you can identify where this wonderful shop of curiosities is, I would be grateful. I do know that it is in the 6th, on a street that is interrupted by a tiny traffic circle. If I was in Paris, my radar could take me to it without a hitch. But alas, this will have to be a team effort. I know we can do it!

I apologize for the graininess. I was hoping to capture the quirky nature of what you might find here.

Maybe it’s just my family, but we have several of these little artists’ models around our house. You could easily find a vignette like this on my dining room buffet.

For example, this is my family celebrating the fact that we have stumbled upon the Eiffel Tower while driving around in our very groovy, blue mini-van as we travel about in our glass dome. It sits on our bar in our kitchen–a fairly busy place in the house where all who visit can share in our Playmobil adventures. I assure you, the cheesy mustache and pirate boots on my “husband” are tiny fabrications of the truth. His boots are brown. The rest is real ;-)

I could not love this photo more. It isn’t very good or very special but it feels so haunting to me. All the elements make it a scene from a dream that you may or may not want to escape from!
OH, great location angel–come to our rescue so we can all get back here!
