Like you, I have a few different journals going at once. There’s a mini journal that stays in my purse. Inspiration often comes at the oddest times and I’ve learned to be prepared! I also have a journal that I mostly just write in that also often holds lists, ideas and sketches. And then I also have an art journal where I let myself play and create intuitive art.

And here’s something I’ve done in my mini sketchbook (by handbook, similar to a moleskine). I prepped some of the pages with ink blots and then later I’d go back into them with pens and colored pencils bringing out what I saw in the shapes. These were so much fun! Here’s a before and after.
