One of Stampington’s Managing Editors, Christen Olivarez will be launching a brand new magazine titled Stuffed a magazine that will feature the “softies” doll creations that are all the rage these days. Says Christen: “The softies revolution is undeniable. They are showing up in art galleries, books and stores everywhere. Though I don’t make them, I absolutely love them. I’ve made a few softie attempts, but my lack of sewing skills really limits me to making stuffed rectangle shapes. There is just something about the innocence and notion of fun behind them that speaks to me. Some people may ask, ⿿Why make a stuffed donut?’ My answer to them is, ⿿Why not?’”
