THE MINOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF Me Music
Pop singers are making a big comeback this fall, the sad news is that the music is mostly bosh.
I am amazed at how the piece of bosh called "London Bridge" is number 1 on billboard hot 100. Yes I live for Fergie in the video but the song is bosh..
EW's Jeff Jensen agrees
Those background boys yelling ''Oh, snap'' may be impressed, but I'm not. ''London Bridge'' ain't dope, just dopey. Catchy is only a virtue when it's joined by clever, as in ''Milkshake,'' which ''London Bridge'' desperately wants to be. And ladies, likening yourself to a moldy tourist trap really isn't the best way to bring all the boys to the yard. Fergie might be a serviceable vocal accessory/fleshbot to the Peas, but she's no Gwen. not when she sounds like a tipsy hollaback girl doing J-Kwon karaoke. Bottom line: No self-respecting party girl should bump her hump to this junk. D- -Jeff Jensen
Beyonce's singles are just as bad, like with Fergie I like the videos for Deja Vu and Ring The Alarm. I can't even sing along. What good is a song, if I can't put on some gloss and sing along.
Christina Aguilera, now a reformed saint is fighting with Mariah Carey, while her boshy song
Ain't no other man makes me want to scratch my ears out

In other news, I really like City of Men. Its like Laguna Beach with Poor People. (its slutty, lots of slutty music, slutty drugs and a lot of half naked people) - who are all suppose to be teens
From the team behind the Oscar-nominated film City of God comes the acclaimed spin-off series that drew 35 million viewers in Brazil.
Filmed on location, City of Men mixes comedy and drama to tell the stories of Laranjinha and Acerola, two 13-year-olds who live in a notorious Rio slum; a community of drug-dealers, hustlers and teenagers struggling to fulfil their dreams.

THE MINOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF JACKIE WOODMAN
The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman is a herky-jerky romp through Hollywood, courtesy of Jackie Woodman (Kightlinger) and her best friend, Tara Wentzel (Nicholle Tom, The Nanny, The Book of Ruth): two single women trying to carve a niche in Tinsel Town (and on a few bedposts along the way).
Jackie, a writer for a second rate indie film rag, and Tara, a low-level employee at a film production company, are determined to succeed in this fast paced LA scene. Armed only with willful ignorance, fleeting confidence and poor judgment, this lovable, and barely functional duo continually screw up, yet, somehow manage to persevere and stay best friends.
