At the surprise 50th birthday Kimora Lee Simmons organized for her husband, Russell Simmons, at Guastavino’s, the super-buff rapper wore a tank top as he performed, and Gayle King, Patti LaBelle and Alicia Keyes showed their appreciation by showering him with dollar bills. Also spotted under the 15-foot Buddha and two 30-foot tall orchid trees trucked in by party designer Ed Libby were painter Victor Matthews, Andre Balazs, Carol Alt, Benjamin Chavez and Alan and Susan Patricof.
