I’ve actually had these products sitting on my shelf for a few months and only got around to trying them out now. Silly me, as these are really good products.
The Body Shop’s Flawless Skin Protecting Concealer comes in 4 shades (I am 01). It is a cream to powder concealer with African baobab oil, which is said to moisturize your skin. This concealer is not at all greasy and spreads very smoothly. It is easy to work with and doesn’t convert to powder too quickly, allowing you time to smooth it out over the desired areas. I applied it alongside my nose and over a few blemishes and loved how it completely eliminated the redness. For $15.50, it’s a steal!
The Flawless Skin Protecting Foundation
comes in 6 shades, which I feel focuses on much warmer skin tones than those of us in the light to medium family. I went with the only true light color of the group, 01. The consistency of this cream to powder foundation is just like that of the concealer–creamy, non-greasy, completely workable. As far as coverage goes, it did a very good job giving me a very natural looking finish. Besides the mediocre shade offering, the only other downside was that there isn’t much product in the pan. If used everyday, it may only last a month at most.
