In The Dark Knight, Michael Caine plays Alfred, Bruce Wayne⿿s faithful butler. But Batman isn⿿t the only superhero Caine has crossed paths with. In The Cider House Rules, he was a surrogate father to none other than Tobey Maguire, the future Spider-Man. And way back in 1980, Caine was in the movie Death Trap with the late Christopher Reeve. They played gay lovers, and shared a passionate onscreen kiss.
