Last week, Prince Charles and Camilla attended the Royal Film Premiere of ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’ at the Odeon, Leicester Square in London. The event was a fund-raiser for the Cinema & Television Benevolent Fund.
The royal couple met the stars of the movie, Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman.
Natalie Portman was to have been very excited to meet the prince.
“It must be so strange to see a film version of your family,” she said.
“I met him briefly for the premiere of Star Wars about eight years ago, but I’m sure it was an inconsequential moment in his life.”
Earlier in the day, Prince Charles and Camilla hosted a lunchtime reception for leading figures in the British film industry. During the reception, which was held at Clarence House, The Prince paid tribute to British cinema, saying that the industry was “admired in every part of the world”.
