L: My dog Jojo. J: Woody Allen. What's the best meal you've eaten in New York? L: Nothing beats my mothers cooking when shes in New York visiting. Nothing like a home-cooked meal. Now, if only I knew how to cook! J: Per Se.In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job? L: I oversee that things are getting done and more specifically dealing with things that haven't. J: Answer silly questions. Where do you get your coffee? L: Starbucks, every morning. Such a wonderful addiction. J: Dont drink coffee. What's the last thing you saw on Broadway? L: Not so into the Broadway thing. J: A panhandler. Do you give money to panhandlers? L: Only when they have a really great line. Creativity wins me over every time. I once had a guy tell me he was building a spaceship and needed a dollar to finish. How can you say no to that? J: Sometimes. Depends on how broke I am feeling. What's your drink? L: My friends will laugh at this one. It's become such an ongoing joke. My Starbucks addiction is rivaled only by my need for margaritas. J: Absinthe. How often do you prepare your own meals? L: Does pouring milk into a bowl of cereal count? J: Five nights a week. What's your favorite medication? L: Anything that helps with jetlag is always welcome. Never being in one city too long wreaks havoc on your sleep patterns. J: Visine. What's hanging above your sofa? L: I recently bought a series of paintings by this fascinating New York artist Kon Trubkovich. So beautiful. Marianne Boesky and Amy Greenspon have been helping me with art purchases. How lucky am I? I would say besides fashion, what I love most is exploring and collecting art of my generation. J: It's floating. How much is too much to spend on a haircut? L: For a guy, anything other than a barber shop or a friend is too much. I'd say twenty bucks. J: I think anything over 100 for a boy is a little steep. When's bedtime? L: Sleep isnt my friend. I'd say one or two. J: 3 a.m. Brunch: pro or con? L: I like the idea of catching up with friends, but a day to myself is hard to give up. J: Con. What's your thread count? L: Jersey sheets dont have a thread count. J: 1,000. Is that snobby? What do you hate most about living in New York? L: The constant commitments, definitely. J: Having absolutely no nature, no space, and no time to yourself. What's your brand of jeans? L: Levis. J: Wrangler 47. When's the last time you drove a car? L: Over Christmas. There really is nothing better than taking a nice long drive by yourself and listening to some music and just getting away. I really miss that. J: Back when I was a pizza-delivery boy in 97. Who should be the next president? L: A Democrat. J: A black woman Democrat. Basically anything Bush isnt. Times, Post, or Daily News? L: Times. J: Times. Yankees or Mets? L: I couldnt care less. J: Boring. What makes someone a New Yorker? L: Is living here a bad answer? J: Jury duty on Court Street.
