This week I bow down to one of my idols,
David Bowie. The Thin White Duke turned [gulp] 60 this week, and I've wanted to feature this mashup for ages, so it's perfect. LA's own
Arbiters mix Bowie's 'Fame' and
Lou Reed's 'Walk On The Wild Side' (which Bowie co-produced) with some hip-hop flava from
Notorious BIG,
Tupac, and others. It's nice 'n smooth but streetwise, too.
